This briefing provides an overview of the main features of the Companies Act 2014 which has come into effect on 1 June 2015.
The Act consolidates and modernises Irish Company Law and it is intended that it will make it easier for Companies to do business in Ireland. Gilroy Gannon Chartered Accountants will tell you what you need to know regarding this new Act. They will explain the new types of companies that have been introduced and the key changes to how these companies can operate. They will also explain the impact for Company Directors in respect of their duties and responsibilities under this new legislation.
